JEWELRY CARE INSTRUCTIONS
-
Natural gemstones and freshwater pearls may vary slightly in color, shape, texture and markings. These variations are part of their natural beauty and make every handcrafted piece unique.
With thoughtful care, your Carolina Christina jewelry can be worn effortlessly and treasured for years to come.
-
Natural gemstones and freshwater pearls should be treated gently. Avoid soaking them or exposing them to harsh cleaners, extreme heat or prolonged direct sunlight.
Pearls are especially delicate. Wipe them gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth after wearing and allow them to dry completely before storing.
-
Sterling silver naturally develops a patina or tarnish when exposed to air and moisture. This is normal and can easily be refreshed with a soft silver polishing cloth.
For a deeper clean, use mild soap and lukewarm water with a very soft cloth or toothbrush, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
Avoid harsh silver cleaners, especially on pieces containing gemstones or pearls.
-
Gently wipe your jewelry with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Avoid abrasive polishing cloths and chemical cleaners, which can wear away the gold surface.
Gold-plated pieces require a little extra care to preserve their finish.ion
-
Apply perfume, lotion, sunscreen, hairspray and other beauty products before putting on your jewelry. Household cleaners and other chemicals can also damage or discolor metals and natural stones.
-
Remove jewelry before showering, swimming or exercising. Water, chlorine, salt, humidity and perspiration can affect metals, gemstones and pearls over time.
-
When not wearing your jewelry, store it in a soft pouch or sealed bag in a cool, dry place. Keeping pieces separate also helps prevent scratching, tangling and oxidation.Item description
